Connect Jira once for your organization, then choose where NoScope should create tickets. NoScope uses Atlassian’s consent page, so your Jira password is never shared with or stored by NoScope.

Before you start

  • You need permission to manage integrations in NoScope.
  • Your Atlassian account needs access to the Jira site and project you want to use.
  • If your Atlassian account can access several sites, be ready to choose one during setup.

Connect Jira

1

Open Integrations

Open the Integrations page in NoScope and find the Jira card.
2

Start the connection

Click Connect. NoScope sends you to Atlassian to sign in and review the requested access.
3

Give consent

Choose the Jira site you want to connect, then approve access. Atlassian sends you back to the NoScope Integrations page.
4

Choose a site if asked

If you approved access to more than one Atlassian site, select the site NoScope should use. You can connect only one Jira site to an organization at a time.
5

Complete the configuration

The Configure Jira form opens after the connection is ready. Select a default project and issue type, then click Save.

What the settings control

1

Default project

This is the Jira project that receives new tickets. You can choose a different project when you create a ticket for one finding.
2

Default issue type

This is the issue type used for new tickets, such as Bug or Task. The available issue types depend on the selected project.
You can change these defaults later by returning to Integrations and clicking Configure on the Jira card.

Connection states

  • Connected means Jira is ready to use.
  • Finish setup means you still need to choose a site or save the required defaults.
  • Action needed means Jira access has expired or was removed. Click Reconnect and approve access again.
