# Tracking your balance and topping up

Your balance and full history live in the Credit Usage card under account settings. It is the one place to see what you have, what you have spent, and where it went.

## What the card shows

* Available balance, the credits you can spend right now.
* Credits used, everything spent or currently reserved by running scans.
* Activity, a running log of each scan's spend, refunds for failed or cancelled scans, and top-ups added to your account.

When your balance is too low for the mode you want, the run pentest dialog marks the affected modes as Insufficient credits and disables them. To get more, use the Request credits button on the Credit Usage card and we will top you up.
